The Wonders of The Miracle League of Westchester

 When my husband and I found out we were having a baby boy, I have no doubt that he envisioned attending the kid’s soccer matches and coaching his Little League team. After all, what father doesn’t imagine his pride and joy being the star of the team? At 2 ½ , our son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Like many parents, we went through a period of mourning. We imagined all the things he now wouldn’t do (or not as easily, at least) and organized sports was high on the list.
