New moms Sherri Brown Francois, Beryl Bloom Vincequerra and Hanadi Zakour are the proud founders of WestchesterMommy.com. All mommies who've made the transition from Manhattan to “the burbs”. Since none of us were from the area, and hadn’t lived in the suburbs in a long time, we were a little uncertain about how to find all that the area has to offer to new moms and families. We scratched our heads trying to figure out what to do with our new little ones in Westchester, and more important, how to find out what was happening in various towns as well as how to meet other moms like us. After a lot of research, visits to local parks, classes and talking to a lot of moms, we decided that there was a need for a more centralized hub which would post all of the information we had collectively gathered. Hence, the idea for WestchesterMommy.com was born. We are excited to offer parents this online video resource with the latest information on favorite places to go and things to do with their kids from birth to Pre-K. Lets face it – we go through a lot of different emotions after giving birth, and those feelings are multiplied when it is your first! We wanted to offer ways to meet other moms who were experiencing the same things (some for the first time – together) and with similar needs. By putting a spotlight on the best places to take your kids, classes, events, organizations and more, mommies can now get an up close look at what’s available to them in Westchester County. Trust us there is SO much that Westchester has to offer and now it is all listed at your fingertips! Sherri is the proud mommy of a son. She and her family love living on the East Coast – specifically Westchester. Sherri moved to Westchester just before giving birth and found it frustrating when looking for a ‘go-to resource’ as a new mom. Soon after, the concept of WestchesterMommy.com was born! Sherri is currently also the executive producer of SRB Media, a television production company which produces television programming for major media outlets. Sherri’s experience is a quintessential part of what differentiates WestchesterMommy.com from other sites. She brings both practical and personal perspectives to the site.

Beryl is currently a full time mom to two beautiful girls. Her previous days were spent getting an MSW and then working in social work for two years at Big Brothers Big Sisters NYC where she ran corporate mentoring programs. She then had a career change and worked for Johnson and Johnson as a Pharmaceutical Representative from 2001-2007. Although she enjoyed both careers, she is most happy spending her days with her two little girls.
